Murphy'S Hotel - Tubbercurry

Chur, I had a lovely night! Staff were friendly as, and the live music was sweet as. But, the bed was like a trampoline with springs!

We had a short stay at the hotel as we had a very early flight the next morning. As we were not staying on for breakfast, the owner has offered us a 10 euro discount per room (we had 3 rooms) which was really nice and unexpected.

A nice size room and comfortable bed, comfy sleep. Bright bathrooms with a tub. Efficient customer service🙂

Rooms come without bedside tables or lamps. The breakfast service can be hit or miss with incorrect orders, like missing beans or burnt items, which detracts from the overall experience.

Excellent location for Tubbercurry, just next door to Sligo and the surrounding area as well as the centre of the Town on the main street. Also, right in the center of Tubbercurry.

Excellent value for money. Huge Irish breakfast included absolutely everything you could imagine including freshly baked scones. Room was large and comfortable, very well furnished, great bathroom, crisp linen sheets, room serviced daily. Even had great bedside lamps for reading in bed. Internet connection cheap and fast, available 24 hours.Staff friendly and efficient, great atmosphere, family hotel.Loved it - will be back !!

Definitely no complaints. We have stayed in places all over the world and this was one of the best in terms of value for money.We loved this hotel.

The food was fantastic, especially the breakfasts! Clean rooms with great coffee and cookies. The only downside was the lack of towel bars in the bathroom. 😅

Staff friendly and the hotel was okay

I arrived at about 6.30pm, and the chef had gone so I had to go to the Indian restarunt accross the road-okay but I had believed as a "Hotel" food would be available, but nothing was said at the time of booking.

Couldn't recommend more for a concise stay.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent food options including a great cooked breakfast and convenient amenities like free parking to make exploring nearby attractions easy.

The toilet hardly flushed & made a terrible noise while the cistern was filling up (family room).

I like Murphy's because it was very relaxed. Staff were chatty and it was an enjoyable location to spend the night. In a way, I would have liked to spend another night there. One night was barely enough to get to know the town. Might be back there again soon.

Consider requesting a room away from the main street for a quieter experience if you're sensitive to noise.

It was very clean with nice big rooms and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for downtown and country experience. Even though it was on a street in town it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Very pleasantly surprised with how much we liked our stay there.
